July Pictures

Now that the weather is colder, here are some pictures from July to warm you up!  Day care was closed the first week that month.  We had lots of outdoor activities that month.  Water balloons, playing with the parachute, running through the sprinkler, and fun pirate and camping themes kept us busy.

Tuesday, July 24th:

 Shelby, Alex, Maggie and Quinn were all here on this day.

It was a very special day for Shelby.  She lost a tooth while here!  She was so excited!

 

It was also a good day for Quinn as he (finally) got to open his (very belated) birthday present from me.

He seemed pretty happy with it.

Wednesday, July 25th:

We started our camping theme on this week.  Alex brought his toy camper from home.

Shelby, Alex and Andrew played the "Let's Go Camping" game.

Thursday, July 26th:
It was another fun-filled day!

My nieces, Norah and Aleena got to come over for a visit with my Mom that afternoon.  All of the older children got to enjoy an icee popcicle treat during the younger children's nap-time.

Friday, July 27th:
I made a pretend campfire for the children to play with to go along with our camping theme.  I think it turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself!

Parker was very leery of the campfire and didn't want to get too close to it.  She kept saying it was hot!

Tuesday, July 31st, we had Shelby, Alex, Maggie and Quinn here for the day.  Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures that day.  So, this will be the end of the July post.  August was the last of the busy summer months when we had lots of visits from other children who no longer come on a regular basis.  I am working on getting those updated and posted by sometime next week.  In September, all of the older children went back to school so there aren't as many pictures taken and/or posted and it should be easier to get caught up once again and hopefully updating the blog on a more regular basis.
