Same look, but new blog (for now)!

Hello again!!!  I'm back (finally)!  I didn't realize that I was limited in the amount of storage space when I started the blog a few years back.  While trying to get caught up the last time I was updating, I wasn't able to add any more pictures.  Apparently, I had hit the limit on the free storage space!  Well, I needed to find a way to continue the blog, but of course I don't want to have to pay a monthly fee for it. So, my solution (for now) is to begin a new blog here. I am most familiar and comfortable with the ins and outs of this sites blogging format and how it works. I know that eventually I will probably need to find another site (preferably one that has free, unlimited storage), but I hate the thought of learning a whole new site's format when I'm already so used to this site and how it works.

I know that eventually this site's free storage will also fill up and I will be right back at square one. I am trying out other options at this time and will keep you posted as to how they turn out. In the mean time, I didn't want the day care families to have to wait any longer then they already have to see the rest of the pictures from summer and the beginning of fall. So, here you go!!!

We left off in the middle of the week back in June:

Thursday, June 21st, we had Shelby and Alex back with us along with Parker and Rocco for the day.

Parker loves it when Shelby plays dress-up with her.

Now that summer vacation is here and the older children are off from school, there are more children around to play kick ball (which has been a very popular game played here lately).

Friday, June 22nd, we had Shelby, Alex, Caden, Parker and Rocco all here for the day.  Of course, it was Friday so we all enjoyed the Channel 9 Friday Dance Off!

It was a beautiful day for playing outside and that's where we spent most of the day!  The giraffe tent is always a popular place to hang out.

Later that afternoon, Laura stopped by for a quick visit.  She brought Kiera with her.  It was so nice to see her again!  It looked like she enjoyed her time here playing with her cousins and the others.

The last week of June, my great-niece, Naomie was here with us for the week.  It was so nice to have her here with us!  She is such a good little girl!

Tuesday, June 26th, we had Shelby, Alex, Naomie, and Quinn here with us for the day.  We also had a quick lunch-time visit from Drew and Luke that day.  Unfortunately, I only got a couple of pictures of Quinn and Naomie that morning before my camera battery went dead!

Wednesday, June 27th, we had Shelby, Alex and Naomie here all day and Livy for part of the day.

Thursday, June 28th, we had a busy day here with Shelby and Alex, Maggie, Naomie and Rocco all day and Parker for most of the day.

We enjoyed bubbles later that afternoon, thanks to Shelby and Alex's parents who donated them to us along with some other fun toys, treats and surprises that they gave to us to enjoy while they were away on their trip (and for the rest of the summer)!!!  Thank you again Tonya and Mark!

Finally, we wrapped up the month of June with Friday, June 29th.  Shelby, Alex, Maggie, Naomie and Parker were all here.  The girls "ruled" on this day!!!

That day the Disney channel had on the movie, The Princess and the Frog.  It was a big hit (even Andrew and Alex were enjoying the movie).

Well, that wraps up the rest of the June pictures!

Since I know that I will be limited for space on this blog also, I will keep it going for as long as I am able to.  I'm looking at other options right now including another site called Weebly.  Apparently it offers unlimited free storage space.  I have set up an account there but have not started any actual blogging on there yet.  It's a little different then what I'm used to here.  I'm going to have to take some time to experiment and practice on that site until I can become more familiar with how to do things there.  I'm so used to features on this site and there are several things that I really like here that they don't offer there.  I hate having to learn new things, but I guess that's all part of life, right?
